"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I
will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I
am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30 NIV)
After reading this passage, a Sunday school superintendent
asked, "Who can tell me what a yoke is?"
"Something they put on the necks of animals,"
answered a ten-year- old girl.
"Then," asked the leader, "What is God's
yoke?"
There was silence until a four-year-old raised his hand and
said, "God, putting His arms around our neck." —http://www.sermoncentral.com/illustrations/stories-about-my-yoke-is-easy,

The ancient shepherd was always ahead of his sheep.
He was down in front. Any attack had to take the shepherd into account. Our God
is also down in front of His flock. He is the Door of his sheep. Everyone
and everything, whether coming or going, must first face Him. He is in the
tomorrows of our lives.
We can face any mountain we may encounter when we
remember God is there beside us, "putting His arms around our neck,"
carrying the bulk of the load for us. A thankful heart is always open to a new
experience in its journey with God.
A courageous heart will be a confident heart. If
we have courage to face our mountain, God will give us the confidence to
possess it.
THINK ABOUT IT.
